Opening it on a Mac

Works on Apple silicon (M1 and later) and Intel Macs, macOS 10.13 or newer. You only have to do this once.

Why macOS asks

The demo isn't registered with Apple yet, so the first time you open it macOS says it can't check the developer. The game is safe to open; this just tells macOS you trust it.

macOS 15 Sequoia and newer

  1. Unzip the download and drag We Tank Together into Applications.
  2. Double-click it once, then close the message that appears.
  3. Open System Settings → Privacy & Security and scroll down.
  4. Click Open Anyway next to We Tank Together, then confirm with your password.

macOS 14 Sonoma and older

  1. Unzip the download and drag We Tank Together into Applications.
  2. Right-click (or Control-click) the game and choose Open, then click Open again.

Or use Terminal

xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine "/Applications/We Tank Together.app"

Then open the game normally.

Playing on a Mac

Same controls as on Windows. Drop bombs with a right click (two-finger click on a trackpad) or E. Mac and Windows players can join the same games with a join code.
