Different ways to play, always a fresh fight

  • Chase view of a battle: a tank fires between wooden blocks while two more roll in

    Battle

    Up to 6 tanks, first to the score. Bank shots off the walls, open presents, drop bombs, and fill the empty seats with bots.

  • Duel mode: ROUND 4, MATCH POINT, and a 2 countdown over a blue tank

    Duel mode

    1 vs 1, one life a round, first to 2 to 5 rounds. Three arenas built for it. New: bobblehead physics!

  • The view inside a VR headset: a tank in the arena with confetti in the air

    Play in VR

    Windows only. The same download runs on a PC VR headset: Meta Quest through Link, SteamVR headsets or Windows Mixed Reality. Grab the HUD panels to move them.

Get in, tank, win

  1. Download

    Get the game free for Windows or Mac, unzip it and open it.

  2. Join a lobby

    Host and share the join code, or type a friend's. Up to 6 tanks, or 1 vs 1 in Duel mode.

  3. Battle & win

    Bank shots, open presents, drop bombs, and be the last one standing.

Full guide

A match

  1. Host or joinHost a game and share the join code, or type a friend's code. Or pick Practice vs bots.
  2. Set it upUp to 4 players and 6 tanks; the host can add bots to fill the empty seats. The host picks BATTLE or DUEL (1 vs 1), the arena, the score to win (3, 5, 10 or 15 K/Os, or 2 to 5 rounds in a duel), bullet bounces, and each bot's type and skill.
  3. Pick your tankChoose a color and a tank type in the lobby, and dress it up in CUSTOMIZE.
  4. BattleBank shots, open presents, drop bombs. Destroyed? You're back after a 5-second countdown. First to the score wins. In a duel you get one life a round.

FAQ

Is it free?

Yes. The game is free to download and play from itch.io, with no account and no ads.

How many people can play?

Up to 4 players and 6 tanks in an online game; the host can add bots to fill the empty seats. On your own, pick Practice vs bots.

What is Duel mode?

A 1 vs 1 game: switch BATTLE to DUEL in the lobby. Each round you get one life, and the tank still standing takes it. First to the rounds the host picks (2 to 5) wins. Play a friend online, or a bot in Practice.

Can Windows, Mac and VR players play together?

Yes. Everyone joins with the same join code, as long as everyone has the same version of the game.

I can't join my friend's game. Why?

Check that you both have the Oct 16 download. Copies from before Oct 16 can't play online with this one, and the game shows a "Version mismatch" message. Download again from this page to update.

How does voice chat work?

Hold T to talk (press the left stick in VR), or pick Open Mic in Settings › Voice chat. Voices get louder the closer that tank is to yours, and everyone hears everyone in the lobby. A destroyed tank's crew can't be heard until it respawns. Voice chat works in online games, not in practice.

Which VR headsets work?

VR is Windows only. Try it with a PC headset that supports OpenXR: Meta Quest through Link or Air Link, SteamVR headsets, or Windows Mixed Reality. See Play in VR.

Windows or my Mac won't open it. What now?

On Windows, if SmartScreen appears, click More info then Run anyway. On a Mac, follow opening it on a Mac; you only do it once.
